Our history
Silicatos de Malpica, S. L. (SIMAL), which belongs to IQE Group, concentrates its activity in the production of alkaline, sodium and potassium silicates in crystal form.
With a long history in the Spanish market, it complements the activities of the group's other companies.
2015 IQE Group acquires Peroxychem's silicate division in Spain. The production plant in Zamudio (Bilbao) joins the IQE Group as Silicatos de Malpica, S. L.
2021 A new production furnace is commissioned to double silicate production.
